Lapse

Lapse is a card game that's openly inspired by the awesome Reigns. Now, rather than becoming the King of a medieval empire, you lead a modern nation. The gameplay is identical. Swiping cards from left to right, you decide the fate of your realm by choosing between two distinct courses of action to take.

In Lapse, there is a perfect balance between four cardinal parameters: environment, society, army, and economy. If either of these parameters reaches nil, you'll need to face off in a special event until the match ends. Every time you finish a match, it's time to start over.

Just like in Reigns, Lapse provides a very intriguing back story with secrets that you'll uncover as you play. The only thing you need to uncover each of the mysteries is to watch as each of the game's events takes place (essentially just swiping left or right throughout hundreds of different events).

Lapse is an interesting and fun card game. It is a direct (and shameless) copy of Reigns — and already excellent game, but this time provides a revamped gaming experience with additional content and themes.
